Ramey's Hit Streak Over Monday, June 10th, 2030 Waba Ducks right fielder Don Ramey finally met his Waterloo. A 22-game hitting spree is now history after Ramey was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats today against the Birmingham Barons. Fortunately for Ramey and the Ducks, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game 7-5. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 22 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." Presently Ramey is batting .372 and has collected 7 home runs, 24 RBIs, .496 OBP and scored 22 runs. |
