Allentown Loses Trevino for Year
Tuesday, September 17th, 2030
Emílio Trevino of the Hillbillies just might have to call it quits for the season. The 35-year-old Allentown reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Chattanooga Chinpokomon recently at Tug McGraw Stadium. Trevino suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Hillbillies medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7-8 months.
This year Trevino has registered 2 saves in 61 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 7-10 won-lost mark with a 12.22 ERA. In 112.2 innings he has fanned 43.
