Wigfall 5-for-6 Against Chattanooga Monday, September 9th, 2030 The Chattanooga Chinpokomon might think twice next time about pitching to Earl Wigfall. At Bulldog Stadium today, the Amarillo Archdukes center fielder burned Chattanooga pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 15-10 Amarillo triumph. "When he's on his game," Amarillo skipper Allen Smith told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Earl Wigfall singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. So far this season Wigfall has gotten 48 hits in 164 at-bats for a .293 batting average with 7 home runs. His stats include 29 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has played in 61 games.
