van Rhee Sends Chattanooga Bats to Deep Freeze Sunday, August 25th, 2030 Rusty van Rhee led the Trenton Stars to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Chattanooga Chinpokomon at Trenton Stadium today. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," van Rhee recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." van Rhee yielded 7 hits and had 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Chattanooga manager José Avilés said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching." This year van Rhee has recorded a 12-10 mark.
