Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Portland Wednesday, August 21st, 2030 The Portland Privateers will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2030 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Portland was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Privateers have missed the playoffs 22 times in their 23 years as a International League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 17th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2013. |
