Red-Hot Rampage Reaps ITL Reward Monday, August 19th, 2030 At the age of 31, Roland Jones might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Richmond center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .448 batting average. For his efforts Jones collected the International League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 7 games. So far this season Jones is hitting .310 with 42 home runs, 115 RBIs and 73 runs scored. He has 145 hits in 467 at-bats and a .356 OBP. |
