Murray's Hit Streak Reaches 30 Games

The number just keeps getting higher.
Tuscaloosa right fielder Ed Murray has now extended his hitting string to 30 games. He did it today with 4 hits in 4 at-bats as the Tuscaloosa took the 11-2 win over the Memphis Redbirds at Tuscaloosa Municipal Stadium.
"Who knows how long it will go on?" Memphis manager Luis Torres said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Ed Murray singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Murray on the season is batting .504 with 1 home run. His totals include 34 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has played in 31 games.
