Season Ends for Jorge Torres of Allentown Sunday, July 14th, 2030 The news is bad in Allentown. The Hillbillies have lost the services of starting pitcher Jorge Torres for the rest of the season due to a torn labrum. Torres was injured in a recent game with the Amarillo Archdukes while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 5-6 months. Thus far this season, Torres has tossed 103.1 innings in 22 starts, fanned 84 batters, walked 86 and put up a 8.01 ERA with 1 win and 8 losses. |
