Nashville Swaps Aguirre to Chicago for Stephens
Monday, December 9th, 2030
Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Nashville G-Strings and the Chicago Machine. In the deal Nashville got 28-year-old C Doug Stephens from Chicago and dealt 29-year-old C Vicente Aguirre, 26-year-old minor league 2B Dave Henley, 25-year-old minor league RHP Arthur Martínez and 22-year-old minor league CF Mario Rodríguez to the Machine. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned."
Lifetime Aguirre is batting .257 with 182 doubles, 5 triples, 74 home runs and 321 RBIs in 770 games.
In his career Stephens has gotten 898 hits with a .281 batting average, scored 408 runs, hit 140 home runs and driven in 448.
