The 36-year-old starting pitcher will not be back as soon as originally expected. Gonzáles is undergoing treatment for bone chips in his elbow, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 8 months. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Albert tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." Albert Gonzáles is expected to undergo surgery in Philadelphia(Pennsylvania) tomorrow.
