Top NL Pitcher Announced Monday, November 11th, 2030 The Kenilworth Aces have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Dave Smeddon, this year's National League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Smeddon compiled a 17-5 record in 27 starts, tallied 185 strikeouts in 207 innings and recorded a 2.30 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .209 batting average against him. Bob Moss of the Baffin Island Beavers finished second in voting, while Edward Baker of the New Orleans Looters finished third. |
