Figueroa Ups Hit Streak to 45 Consecutive Games

Júlio Figueroa has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 30-year-old Pocatello Bellas catcher extended his streak today to 45 games, going 3-for-5 as Pocatello got the best of the St Charles Sheens at New BRO Stadium, 9-5.
"Júlio has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Bellas manager Danny Lombardi said. Júlio Figueroa singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
So far this season Figueroa has put up a .393 batting average with 199 hits, 12 home runs and 93 RBIs.
