Derek Simpson Blanks Seattle Sunday, September 22nd, 2030 Derek Simpson handcuffed the Seattle Pikes at Pikes' Point Stadium today, coming away with a 9-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Pocatello Bellas right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Simpson had little trouble with the Pikes and led the Bellas to victory, 7-0. He recorded 2 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance.
