Machine Out of Playoff Race Sunday, September 22nd, 2030 The dream of lifting a championship banner above the home field of the Chicago Machine has been extinguished, at least for 2030. The club was formally eliminated from playoff contention today. Asked to comment on how he felt about the news, Machine manager Carlos Uribe issued a one-word statement, which cannot be printed by BNN. Chicago hasn't yet made it to the postseason. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 23 seasons in the BSA. |
