Figueroa Hits in 38 Consecutive Games

Júlio Figueroa's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Pocatello. The 30-year-old catcher extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 38 games with a 3-for-5 performance against the Seattle Pikes. The Bellas took the game, 10-7.
"People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Júlio Figueroa walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
This year Figueroa has hit at a .386 pace and produced 87 RBIs, 12 home runs and scored 89 runs.
