New York Loses Piņa for Year Sunday, September 1st, 2030 Ramiro Piņa of the Knights just might have to call it quits for the season. The 31-year-old New York reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Philadelphia Athletics recently at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark. Piņa suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Knights medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months. This year Piņa has registered no saves in 5 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark with a 1.99 ERA. In 22.2 innings he has fanned 18. |
