Rebels Lose, 6-4, at Branda's Palace
|
The Nevada Noise defeated the Boston Rebels, 6-4, at Branda's Palace. Nevada first baseman Milton Watson was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Nevada reliever Dan Wilson picked up the win to move to 3-2. Enrique Muńóz suffered the loss. The Noise, now 35-27, have won 4 in a row.
Watson contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Nevada in the bottom of the sixth. With his team trailing 3-0, Watson took a fastball from Claudio Segura and stroked the home run to left. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Noise to leap in front, 4-3.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Watson told the Nevada Times.
