Huber Sharp in Shutout
|
An efficient outing for Eddie Huber usually means a win for the BlackIron Dragons and today was no exception. The 24-year-old right-hander held the Beaumont Roughnecks to a long line of goose eggs. He struck out 9 and gave up 5 hits in the 5-0 shutout.
"Eddie really got it done out there today," said BlackIron manager Ronnie Liston.
For the season Huber has compiled a 5-5 record with a 3.63 ERA.
