Luis Vargas of the St Charles Sheens humiliated the Houston Marshals at Crown Royal Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Houston manager John Leach, after the game.

Vargas whiffed 12 and walked 1 in the 7-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Vargas said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
