Cedeño Socks it to Calrissian, Cracks 5 Hits
António Cedeño exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Mel Fields.

The Jersey Shore first baseman had a field day in the 14-0 triumph over the Orlando Calrissian, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Cedeño must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. António Cedeño hit a two-run home run off Dave Heath in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Cedeño is hitting .297 in 2030 with 24 RBIs and 10 home runs.
