The Baffin Island Beavers bested the San Francisco Bandits, 6-4, at Bay View Park. Germán Rosales was named player of the game. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Baffin Island is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Beavers beat the Bandits with some clutch hitting. The single by Albert Morgan in the top of the fourth is a good example. With two down, Morgan gave his team the lead, 3-2, when he came through with the big hit.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Morgan told the Baffin Island Daily News.
