The Pocatello Bellas beat the Seattle Pikes, 9-8, at New BRO Stadium. The Bellas got a fine performance from third baseman Juan Castro, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Pocatello reliever Jaime Espinoza picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Francisco Carrasco was saddled with the loss. The Bellas, now 21-10, have been red hot.

The Bellas were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when right fielder Buck Jones turned a first pitch changeup from Francisco Carrasco into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Pocatello a thrilling 9-8 win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Castro, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
