Oilers Prevail, 2-1, Over Austin
|
El Dorado rode a fine outing from starter Orlando Costa to victory over the Austin River Sharks at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace. The final score was 2-1. Kuang-yin Yue earned the save, his 8th, for the Oilers. The River Sharks, now 10-20, continue their poor start.
El Dorado right fielder José Hernández contributed to the cause with a single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Hernández went 2-4 with 2 singles.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Costa said after the game.
