Noise Walk Off with Win
The Nevada Noise did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Maui Tropics at Branda's Palace. Nobody did more than pitcher Elton Johnston, who captured player of the game honors. Nevada reliever Dan Wilson was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Scott McCullough took the loss for Maui. The Noise raised their record to 19-11.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Nevada center fielder Luis Cruz, facing Scott McCullough, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Noise the 3-2 win.

"This place sure got loud," said Bobby Vickers, the Nevada manager.
