Bandits Raise Rally Flag, Beat So Cal, 6-5

The San Francisco Bandits beat the So Cal Bruins, 6-5, at Bay View Park. The Bandits got a fine performance from third baseman Lorenzo Mota, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. San Francisco reliever Alfonso Martínez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Marty Burgess absorbed the loss. San Francisco has a mark of 13-16 after the win.
