González Rips Mexico City for 5 Hits
Lorenzo González put on a hitting clinic today as the Vancouver Vipers dumped the Mexico City Cerveceros 20-3 at The Viper Nest.

The Vancouver third baseman made Mexico City defenders earn their pay, lashing Mexico City pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," González said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Lorenzo González hit a solo-shot off Manuel Zarate in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and doubled in the 7th.
