Bruins Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus El Dorado
|
So Cal Bruins starter Juan González pitched a strong game against the El Dorado Oilers at Jersey West at Staples Field, leading the Bruins to a 7-3 win. González, now 4-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 2 earned runs. The Oilers drop to 12-12 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2030 season.
The Bruins got a big at-bat from third baseman Greg King. For the game, King went 2-3 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave So Cal a 2-0 lead.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," González told the So Cal Gazette.
