Pocatello Bellas starter Chris Martin pitched a strong game against the Vista Panthers at Stone Brewery Stadium, leading the Bellas to a 10-1 win. Pocatello, now 9-6, has gotten their season off to a good start.
Roberto García helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Pocatello a 2-0 lead.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," García told the Pocatello Daily News.
