Benefiting from an exceptional performance from António Hernández, the Seattle Pikes defeated the Austin River Sharks, 6-4. Hernández was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Pikes. The win was credited to Christian Camden in relief. His record improves to 5-7. Manuel Gil took the loss. Francisco Carrasco was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 29 of 31 save opportunities.
Richard Hunter had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for the Pikes. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Seattle trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run home run.
Hunter told a Seattle News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
