Beavers Get Close Win Over River Sharks
|
Baffin Island Beavers starter Ron Young was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Austin River Sharks, 5-4. Baffin Island is now 97-47, 4½ games up in the National League Eastern Division.
Paco Arellano made it 5-4 in favor of Baffin Island when he delivered a solo home run. It came with no one out in the top of the eighth. The Beavers went on to win.
"Ron is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Baffin Island manager Carlos Castillo.
