The Pocatello Bellas stymied the Nashville G-Strings, 6-2, at New BRO Stadium. Juan Castro, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Pocatello. Pocatello goes to 105-38. The win puts them 24½ games up in their division.
Castro had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Johnathan Phillips, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bellas a 5-2 lead. It was the 22nd home run of the year for Castro.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Castro said after the game.
