Close Win Moves Bandits to 64-79
|
The San Francisco Bandits eked out a 4-3 win versus the Kenilworth Aces at Bay View Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jae-hyun Ch'oe, who captured player of the game honors. Carlos Ledezma was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 3 save opportunities. The win puts the Bandits at 64-79, while the Aces drop to 91-52.
San Francisco third baseman Lorenzo Mota contributed to the cause with a double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Mota was 1 for 2 with a double and a walk.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Mota, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
