The Pocatello Bellas topped the St Charles Sheens, 8-3, with left fielder José Rivas playing a big role. Rivas went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bellas in the win. Derek Simpson picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-0. He struck out 5 in 7 innings. Pocatello improves to 99-36 with the win. They lead their division by 21½ games.

It could have been a different outcome for Pocatello, had it not been for Buck Jones, the 30-year old right fielder . Jones contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Pocatello up, 4-2.
