Stars Roll to 8-2 Win Over Noise
With catcher António De La Cruz leading the charge, the Springfield Stars defeated the Nevada Noise, 8-2, at Kekambas Park. De La Cruz, who is rated as the 14th best prospect by BNN, was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Springfield starter José López was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 15-5. The Stars have an impressive 92-39 record.
