Rebels Rally For Late Win Over Sheens

The Boston Rebels beat the St Charles Sheens, 2-1 at Crown Royal Stadium, in part due to left fielder Gabriel Aragón, who nabbed player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. The 4th-place Rebels lifted their record to 60-69.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and two out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when right fielder Frank Jackson, who is tied for 6th in the NL with a .550 slugging percentage, hit a single. The Rebels went on to win.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Boston manager Noel Smith said.
