Rebels Lose to Aces, 6-3
|
Kenilworth Aces starter Dave Smeddon pitched a strong game against the Boston Rebels at Play Rocks Field, leading the Aces to a 6-3 win. The Aces raised their record to 10-3.
The Aces got a big at-bat from third baseman António Gonzáles. For the game, Gonzáles went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Kenilworth a 4-2 lead.
"We've got a great group of guys," Smeddon said, "and we're having fun right now."
