Knights Bridle Bandits, 3-2

Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the New York Knights and the San Francisco Bandits.
The San Francisco Bandits went down to defeat to Tony Meyer and his New York teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Knights. Meyer, now 5-7, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Sancho Mendoza converted his 16th save in 19 tries.
The Knights got a big at-bat from third baseman Gerald Miller. For the game, Miller was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave New York a 3-2 lead.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Meyer.
New York is now 41-67.
