Paço Boda never let the Tropics get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his splitter, to pitch the Rockets to a 3-0 win. Boda, now 3-2, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing no earned runs. Chris Marshall earned his 9th save in 15 chances.

Kenji Kudo aided the Nassau cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder was 1-2 with a home run and a walk.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Kudo told the Nassau Daily.

Nassau has now won 3 in a row.
