The Pocatello Bellas moved to within one game of the BSA Championship today, downing the Springfield Stars on the road at Kekambas Park by a score of 12-4. Bellas designated hitter Ryan Drake was named player of the game after he was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. The win gives the Bellas a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship.

Drake had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning, when he hit a bases-clearing triple. The Bellas went on to win.

"The vibe's good," said Pocatello manager Danny Lombardi. "We've got to keep it going."

The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23rd, 2030 at New BRO Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Rien Middelkamp for the Springfield Stars and Nelson Ortega for the the Pocatello Bellas.
