Boston beat Jersey Shore on the strength of starter Frank Jackson's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 8-1 win. In 8.1 innings, Jackson surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Boston bumps their record to 73-83 with the win.
