Alou Delivers Walk-Off Win for Tropics
The Maui Tropics faced a tough opponent in Vista pitcher José Salinas, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Rainbow Stadium by a final score of 4-3. Salinas went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The last-place Tropics now have a win-loss record of 65-88.

Luis Alou was the walk-off hero for Maui. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tropics left fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Vista manager Tim Fulgham said following the tough loss.
