García Dazzles in Nashville Win
|
Not everyone stuck through the 53-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
Nashville G-Strings starter Javier García turned in a top-notch performance against the Austin River Sharks at Gibson Guitar Park. The result was a win for the G-Strings, 6-1. Nashville goes to 5-3 with the win.
García was in the zone all game. He frustrated Austin hitters while giving the G-Strings 7 innings of quality work. García threw 83 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
"It feels good to get this one," García told the Nashville Citizen.
