Bandits Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rebels
|
The San Francisco Bandits overcame a good performance by Boston left fielder Gabriel Aragón to knock off Boston, 5-4, at Bay View Park. Aragón went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 4th-place Bandits have won 5 straight.
Chris Austin, who was drafted in the three round of the 2024 draft, chipped in for San Francisco with a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Austin.
