 | September's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Bustamante Monday, October 1st, 2029 In September, Alberto Bustamante tore through the Sub League 1 like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 19 years old. The young Grand Rapids starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 3.08 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 38 innings he collected 38 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .210 average. This season Bustamante has a 9-3 record with a 3.28 ERA in 23 starts. |   |
