 | Quiñones Blanks Macho Men Friday, August 17th, 2029 Guillermo Quiñones pitched a strong game at Fremont Grounds today, blanking the San Francisco Macho Men 4-0. Quiñones allowed no runs on 6 hits, totaled 5 strikeouts and gave up no walks. Oceanside manager Miguel Valdéz said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Quiñones. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," Valdéz said. "He threw a lot of strikes." Quiñones has made 5 starts so far this year and put up a 3-1 won-lost record with a 2.70 ERA.
