 | Season Possibly Over for Gonzalo Martínez Wednesday, August 8th, 2029 Gonzalo Martínez of the Killa Beez just might have to call it quits for the season. The 17-year-old Pittsburgh reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Oceanside Swamp Foxes recently at Shaolin Grounds. Martínez suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Killa Beez medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months. Running the numbers on Martínez for the year, he has made 11 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 1-1 won-lost mark with a 2.91 ERA. In pitching 21.2 innings, he has totaled 16 strikeouts and 11 walks. |   |
