Yellowknife's Brennan Will Miss Season
Tuesday, August 7th, 2029
The doctors have spoken and Rob Brennan of the Yellowknife Claws didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Brennan sustained his season-ending injury during the Ottawa Fat Cats game yesterday at Fat Cats Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Yellowknife medical staff reported Brennan had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8 months.

To date this season, Brennan has registered 0 starts, 2-0 won-lost mark, 2.61 ERA, 10.1 IP, 12 strikeouts and 7 walks. Opposing teams have hit .216 against him.
