 | Maize HS Willie Martínez Will Miss Season Sunday, May 6th, 2029 Willie Martínez of the Maize HS just might have to call it quits for the season. The 17-year-old Maize HS reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Otsego HS Bulldogs recently at Ballpark of Ottumwa HS. Martínez suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Maize HS medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. Martínez has 2 saves this season with a won-lost record of 2-1 and 5.40 ERA. |   |
