 | Cabrera Stretches Hit String to 20 Thursday, May 3rd, 2029 The Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints stopped the Coweta HS Tigers today 21-4 and Ramón Cabrera collected a base hit yet again. The Temiskaming District Secondary School first baseman finished with 3 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Cabrera told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Ramón Cabrera singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Corey Wyatt in the 9th. Currently Cabrera is hitting .319 and has collected 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 18 times, while playing in 29 games. |   |
