 | Cooper's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Thursday, May 3rd, 2029 Emery Cooper's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Overland Park HS first baseman smacked 1 hit against the Maris School Mariners in today's game at Renegades Ballpark, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Triplets drop the game, 2-1. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Emery Cooper struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. So far this season Cooper is hitting .451 with 16 home runs. |   |
